Use Enrich Products when products already exist in a connected catalog and you want to improve selected content before publishing or exporting the result. The workflow has five enrichment modes, each designed for a different catalog goal.

Use Improve Catalog Health and Product Readiness when you need help deciding which products to enrich first.

Start with the right catalog and mode

Open Enrich Products and select the platform and connected store you want to work with. A connected, active store is required for this workflow.

All Products is the catalog-browsing view. Use it to find any product, choose the fields you want to improve, and decide whether to fill gaps or rewrite existing content.

The five enrichment modes are:

  1. Incomplete Products for missing or empty content.
  2. The platform-specific structured catalog mode for categories, attributes, metafields, features, or related catalog fields.
  3. SEO for search-facing content.
  4. Copywriting for customer-facing product copy.
  5. Custom for your own instructions and chosen fields.

The structured-catalog label varies by destination: Shopify uses Category & Metafields, while WooCommerce and CS-Cart use Categories & Attributes.

Catalog health, products missing fields

Then use the available catalog controls to find the products that need attention. Depending on the connected destination, you can narrow the selection by product status, completeness, missing information, search terms, category, collection, or vendor.

1. Incomplete Products

Choose Incomplete Products when the objective is to fill catalog gaps without replacing content that is already present. The mode highlights missing-field counts and starts with the fields that need attention.

Use the field chips or Select Fields to Enrich to refine the selection. Common fields include title, description, images and alt text, pricing, stock, tags, categories, SEO metadata, and platform-specific structured fields.

The default policy is Fill missing. It writes only to empty or blank eligible fields and leaves existing values untouched. This is the safest starting point for an established catalog.

2. Categories, attributes, and structured catalog data

Choose the structured-catalog mode when product classification or structured data is the primary problem.

  • Shopify Category & Metafields can work with tags, collections, product category, product type, and configured metafields.
  • WooCommerce Categories & Attributes can work with tags, categories, and brand information.
  • CS-Cart Categories & Attributes can work with categories and product features; use the available field selection for related custom fields where needed.

The default policy is Fill missing, so existing catalog structure is preserved unless you deliberately change the policy. Configure platform fields first in Brand & Content → Structured Fields when the store requires specific definitions, features, or custom fields.

3. SEO

Choose SEO when you want to improve the product information shoppers and search engines use to find a listing. The mode can work with SEO title, SEO description, title, description, and image alt text. Connected platforms can add their own SEO fields, such as WooCommerce focus keyphrases or CS-Cart meta keywords.

SEO mode defaults to Enrich all, which can replace existing selected values. Use it when you want a deliberate refresh, not merely to fill blanks. Review the selected fields before starting.

You can turn on Auto keyword research when it is available. It adds the keyword-research credit cost for every product in the operation. Set an SEO research location in Brand & Content when you need regional keyword results.

Optimize product SEO and visibility

4. Copywriting

Choose Copywriting when the goal is to refresh customer-facing language, such as a title or product description. WooCommerce and CS-Cart can also include short descriptions in this mode.

Copywriting defaults to Enrich all, so it can replace existing selected copy. Use the instructions box for a clear, product-group-specific direction, such as Use a more technical tone for professional buyers or Lead with the material and everyday use case.

Keep instructions short and specific. Store-wide voice and format rules belong in Brand & Content; the mode instructions are for the current enrichment operation only.

5. Custom

Choose Custom when none of the focused modes match the task. Select the exact fields to enrich, then provide the instruction for this product group.

For example, you might choose title, description, and tags with the instruction Prepare concise product copy for a seasonal back-to-school collection. Custom mode defaults to Enrich all, so select fields carefully and use a focused product selection when testing a new instruction.

Enrich products with custom instructions

Choose a write policy

The selected mode can expose two write policies:

  • Fill missing updates only empty or blank eligible fields and keeps existing content.
  • Enrich all can replace existing values in the selected fields.

Use Fill missing for safe catalog completion. Use Enrich all only when you intend to refresh existing content and will review every result before publishing.

Enrich products, choose a write policy

Choose the product scope

Choose individual products when you want to test a new mode or instruction. Choose all matching products when the current filters accurately describe the catalog group you want to process.

Before the task starts, Listagrow opens Review Task. Check:

  • The number of products that will be processed
  • The selected fields
  • The estimated and available credits
  • The write policy
  • Whether keyword research or instructions are included
  • Any product limit or catalog-freshness notice

When credits cover only part of the matching set, the review shows how many products can run. When the current operation limit applies, it explains that only the first matching products within the limit will be processed.

If the review shows a catalog-freshness warning, use Sync Now before you start when you need the latest store information.

Enrich products, review operation before start

Start enrichment and review the results

Start the enrichment operation after confirming the selected products and options. Listagrow shows progress while the operation runs.

When it finishes, open Review Products to inspect the enriched content. Edit or regenerate any fields that need adjustment before you approve, publish, or export the product. Structured fields selected for enrichment remain review-required before publishing.

See Monitor and Recover Product Operations when an operation completes with errors, needs a retry, or must be cancelled.

Keep source data in mind

Enrichment is intended to improve product content, not replace your product-management process. Check important commercial information, regulated claims, category choices, pricing, inventory, and destination-specific fields before publishing.
