Use a CSV or XLSX file when supplier, ERP, or catalog data should guide product generation. You can start with a file that contains public image URLs, or attach a file to product images you have already grouped.
For an overview of large-batch content generation, see Bulk Product Description Generator.
Choose the right file workflow
Choose a file (CSV or XLSX) from Create Products when each row represents a product and includes at least one usable public image URL. Listagrow creates product groups from the file rows.
Attach product data after adding images when you already have local image groups and the file contains extra product information, such as supplier descriptions, materials, prices, SKUs, categories, or keywords.
Legacy .xls files are not supported. Use CSV or XLSX instead.

Map the columns
After you add the file, Listagrow suggests a mapping based on the column names and sample rows. Review the mapping before you create product groups. You can select Edit to change individual column assignments.
Map each column to one of these purposes:
- Image URL for the primary image source when the file is the starting point.
- Additional image URL for further product images.
- A product field such as title, description, short description, SEO title, SEO description, tags, product type, category, vendor, URL handle, SKU, price, compare-at price, barcode, or inventory quantity.
- Additional AI context for descriptive source material that should help Listagrow understand the product.
- Ignore when the column is irrelevant to the workflow.
For a file-first workflow, every product row needs at least one valid http or https image URL. A cell can contain multiple image URLs separated by commas, semicolons, or vertical bars.

Save a reusable mapping
When the same supplier or ERP file structure will be used again, select Save mapping as template. Listagrow can reuse a saved mapping for future files with the same set of column headers.
Review a reused mapping when a supplier changes its export format. A familiar file name does not guarantee that its columns still mean the same thing.

Match file rows to image groups
When you attach product data to uploaded images, Listagrow attempts to match file rows to groups automatically. If some rows remain unmatched, use the assignment screen to drag a whole image group or individual images onto the correct file row.
Resolve unmatched rows before generation when the file data is important to the product outcome. A group with no usable image cannot become an image-based product generation item.

Review before generating
Check the resulting product groups before generation:
- Each group should represent one product.
- The images should belong to that product.
- File data should be attached to the correct group.
- Operational values such as SKU, price, inventory, or barcode should be checked again in Review Products.
Continue to Generate only after the groups and source data are correct. See Monitor and Recover Product Operations for limits, progress, and recovery guidance.
