Use catalog health and product readiness to decide what to improve first. These signals help you find incomplete product information in a connected catalog before you spend time enriching or publishing it.

Read catalog health

The Dashboard and Enrich Products views show health information for connected stores. A health score summarizes how complete the audited catalog is, while counts identify products that need attention.

Use the color signals as a quick priority guide:

  • Green indicates a stronger level of completeness.
  • Amber indicates products that need attention.
  • Red indicates the most critical gaps.

Catalog health is a workflow signal, not a guarantee of listing quality or marketplace approval. A high score does not replace a review of commercial facts, product claims, pricing, compliance, or destination requirements.

Understand readiness and missing fields

Each product can show a readiness or completeness score in the catalog and Review Products. Open the score or missing-field control to see what needs attention.

The fields that contribute to completeness vary by connected platform. Common examples include:

  • Title and description
  • Images and image alt text
  • Price and stock quantity
  • Tags, categories, or collections
  • SEO title and SEO description
  • Platform-specific attributes, metafields, features, or custom fields

Do not assume every missing field can be generated automatically. Price, inventory, source images, and some operational identifiers usually need accurate source data or a manual update.

Prioritize the right products

Open Enrich Products, choose the connected store, and use the available task and filter controls to narrow the catalog.

Start with one of these focused approaches:

  • Incomplete Products for records that need several fields.
  • A missing-field filter when a specific gap, such as description or image alt text, is the priority.
  • A category, collection, vendor, status, or search filter when you are improving a defined product group.
  • A platform-specific task such as Shopify Category & Metafields or WooCommerce Categories & Attributes when structured catalog data is the problem.

Begin with a small, representative selection before applying a new enrichment approach to a large catalog.

Move from health signal to review

After enrichment, open Review Products and check the generated result. A health signal identifies where to look; it does not approve a product for publishing.

Review the fields that were targeted, then check related values that could be affected by the destination, such as category, price, structured fields, and SEO content. Publish or export only after the product is ready for its intended channel.
